February 13th, 2020. Right before the world would be turned upside down by the COVID-19 pandemic, I was in Berlin for OffensiveCon 2020. Following the advice of a Berliner friend I was lucky enough to meet in the Bay Area, I decided to go and try Cookies Cream, a fine dining vegetarian restaurant in the Mitte district.
